During the month of February, 2020, the CNSA is focusing on Social Determinants of Health (Those conditions into which we are born, live, learn, pray, and play). For the week of Feb 10-16 our theme is Social Exclusion. The resources provided are gathered from a variety of sources and challenge members to consider their privilege in being educated, to examine how social conditions help or hinder the education of children, youth, and adults, and to learn how education affects a person's health-seeking behaviours, coping mechanisms, economic means in life, and their overall health and wellness.

❝Social exclusion is an expression of unequal relations of power among groups in society, which then determine unequal access to economic, social, political, and cultural resources.❞ – Grace-Edward Galabuzi, 2009

We sent out various resources (including Tedx videos, infographics, research papers, posters, and think tanks) to your CNSA email, as well as sharing some resources, as possible, on Facebook and Twitter. As well, these resources will be added to the website under the Initiatives page. The links for the webinars can be found both on our youtube page and on our website and social media.
