Social Determinants of Health are the conditions in which people are born, live, grow, work, and play. Social Determinants (SD) have a profound impact on an individual’s and community’s health and wellness, and these conditions are not necessarily malleable nor changeable at an individual level. In this series of awareness days, the Canadian Nursing Students’ Association aims to educate communities on the impact of SD, on policies that shape individuals through addressing SD, to connect students with resources and information, external associations, and to inspire nursing students to take action through their practice or academics. This first day is themed Education. In this vein, we will have the Education and Equity Webinar!
